Betsy Brown has made a significant career of painting for the past twenty five years. Living in northern New Jersey her entire life, she has found many historical sites and magnificent landscapes which she has rendered into elegant oil paintings. A major source for her inspiration has been the Hudson River painters because of their clarity of vision and force of imagination. Although primarilay self taught, her work demonstrates strong consideration and respect for the masters.
